Refund Policy

This policy sets out what happens to your money if a digital product is faulty, wrong, or never arrives. Please read it before you buy: it is written to be clear about where the line sits, not to be vague about it.

The short version

Four things cover almost every situation.

  • Broken or wrong files are refunded A file that will not open, is corrupted, or is not what was described is a fault on us. Clause 5.
  • Money that never reached us comes back Failed payments, duplicate charges and transactions you did not authorise are dealt with in full. Clauses 7 and 8.
  • Changing your mind is not a fault A working file you simply do not want is not a refundable fault. Clause 4.
  • Download once and it is gone We cannot un-deliver a file, which is why the fault matters more than the download. Clause 2.

1. The Short Answer

We sell digital files. Once a file has been delivered to you, we cannot take it back, and we do not refund purchases simply because you changed your mind.

We do refund in the situations where we have genuinely failed: the file is broken, corrupted, or not the product that was described; it never arrived and cannot be made to arrive; you were charged twice; or a payment failed and money was still taken from you.

Every request is read by a person. We do not run an automatic refund system, and we do not promise a decision without looking at what actually happened.

2. Why Digital Products Are Different

A physical product can be posted back. A digital file cannot. The moment a download completes, the file is on your device, and we have no way to confirm you have deleted it, and no way to delete it for you.

This is not an excuse to ignore problems, and it is not why we refuse legitimate claims. It is why the test we apply is whether the product is faulty, not whether you still want it.

It is also why we ask you to try a download before raising a query. If a file did not arrive or will not open, that is a fault we fix, and you are entitled to your money back rather than a troubleshooting conversation. Clause 6 explains what to send us so we can act on it quickly.

3. When We Will Refund You

We will issue a full refund to the original payment method in any of these situations:

  • The file is corrupt or will not open. It is damaged, incomplete, or in a format that does not work as the product page described.
  • The file is not what you bought. The product is materially different from its description, or is not the product ordered.
  • Nothing has been delivered. The download never became available and we cannot make it available.
  • You were charged twice for the same order.
  • A payment failed but you were still charged. The payment did not complete and the money came off your account anyway.
  • The transaction was not yours. You did not authorise the payment, and you have changed the password on the account.
  • Serious technical fault we cannot fix. A problem that stops you using the product and that we cannot resolve.

In each of these cases the fault is ours, the file is not usable as sold, or the money is not yours. Those are the situations where a refund is the correct answer rather than a favour.

4. When We Will Not Refund You

To be straightforward about the other side: we do not refund in these situations.

A working file you simply do not want

If the file downloaded correctly, opens correctly, and is what the product page described, then you have received what you paid for. Not opening it, or deciding later that you would rather have something else, is not a fault and we cannot treat it as one. Please check the description, file list and format before you buy if you are unsure.

We will not refund where:

  • The file works and matches its description, and you no longer want it.
  • You bought the same product twice by mistake. The second order is not a duplicate payment in the sense of clause 7; it is a second order.
  • A discount or coupon was used and you are unhappy with the price you paid.
  • You did not read the product requirements, and the product does not run on your system or with your software.
  • You downloaded the file and shared, resold, or redistributed it. Beyond the refund, this may mean we withdraw download access and close the account.
  • You are asking for a refund on grounds that the law does not support once the file has been delivered. Clause 16 sets out your rights.

We would rather tell you this now than take your money and hope you do not notice.

5. Faulty, Corrupt or Wrong Files

5.1 What counts as a fault

A file is faulty if it cannot be used as the product page led you to expect. In practice that means it will not open, it is truncated or damaged, it is the wrong file, it is empty, or it is materially different from the description.

5.2 Before you contact us

Almost every file complaint turns out to be something recoverable, so please try these first. It is faster for both of us than a refund conversation.

  • Download the file again. A download that was interrupted part-way through produces a corrupt file, and downloading again is usually enough.
  • Check the product page for the stated format and any system requirements.
  • Try extracting the archive again rather than opening it from inside the archive.
  • Check your device has enough free space and the right software to open the format.
Downloads are unlimited, so a bad file is never a dead end

You are not rationed to a fixed number of attempts. If a file is corrupt, download it as many times as you need to get a good copy. That removes the most common reason a broken download turns into a refund request.

5.3 If it is still faulty

Contact us with the details in clause 12. Tell us your order number, which file is affected, what happens when you try to open it, and what you have already tried. If the fault is real we will refund the order, not argue about it.

6. Files That Never Arrive

If the download link is not in your account, or it fails every time you try, that is a fault and you are entitled to a refund rather than an endless retry.

Before writing to us, please check:

  • You are signed in to the account that made the purchase, and you are looking at the right order.
  • The payment shows as paid. An unpaid or pending order does not carry a download entitlement, which is covered in clause 8.
  • Your browser is not blocking the download. Switching browser, or clearing extensions, resolves this more often than not.

If it still will not work, contact us with your order number. We will either fix the access or refund the order. What we will not do is leave you unable to reach a product you have paid for.

7. Duplicate or Unauthorised Payments

7.1 Charged twice

If the same order was charged twice, tell us the order number and we will refund the duplicate in full. We check our own records first, so please allow the normal review time in clause 13.

7.2 A payment you did not make

If you see a payment on your card or PayPal account that you did not authorise, treat this as urgent:

  1. Change your account password immediately.
  2. End any other active sessions on your account.
  3. Contact your bank or PayPal to dispute the transaction. They can stop the money moving faster than we can.
  4. Tell us as well, so we can investigate the account.

Where an order was placed on your account without your authorisation and the money was taken, we will refund it. We will also revoke the download entitlement for that order, because it was not a sale you made.

8. Failed and Cancelled Payments

If a payment fails or is cancelled, you do not own the product and we have taken no money. There is nothing to refund, and the download will not be released.

If a payment failed but money still left your account, that is a different situation and it is handled under clause 7. Contact us with your order number and your bank's record of the charge.

An order that was paid and then cancelled before any download was made is treated as a refund case, not as a failed payment. Tell us and we will look at which it was.

9. Refunds and Download Access

A refund and losing download access are two different things

Refunding an order does not automatically withdraw your download access, and withdrawing access does not automatically mean you have been refunded. These are separate steps and we do not confuse them. Where a refund is issued on the grounds that the product was faulty or was never delivered, we will normally withdraw the download for that order as well, since there is no product left for you to use. Where a refund is issued for a payment problem, your existing access is left as it is.

Download access is checked on every request, so when access is withdrawn it stops working immediately rather than at some later cleanup. Your order history, invoices, and receipts stay in your account either way; withdrawing a download does not delete your records.

If you believe access to a product you paid for has been withdrawn in error, contact us and we will look at the order.

10. How Unlimited Downloads Work

Downloads are unlimited. You can download any file you have purchased as many times as you need, for as long as you keep your account, and there is no time limit on it.

We record how many times each file has been downloaded, but that count is not a limit. It exists so we can see when a file is not reaching customers and can fix it, and so we have a record if a download needs to be investigated.

The practical effect is that a lost hard drive, a reinstalled computer, or a corrupt first copy is never a reason to pay again. If you have bought it, you can get it again.

Unlimited downloads are for your own use. They are not a licence to share, resell, or redistribute the files. That is a separate limit, in clause 4 and in the Terms.

11. Discounts, Coupons and Partial Refunds

If a discount or coupon was applied to your order, the refund is what you actually paid. We do not refund the face value of the product, and we do not reimburse a discount you would no longer qualify for.

Where part of an order is genuinely faulty and the rest is not, we will refund the faulty part. The discount is apportioned across the order, so the refunded amount reflects what you paid for the affected item rather than its full listed price.

A promotional code that was applied to an order that is then refunded is not reissued unless we say so. We reserve the right not to reissue a code used on a refunded order, as reissuing it would let a single promotion be used repeatedly.

12. How to Request a Refund

Contact us by email, from the address on the account that placed the order:

alldigitalcart@gmail.com

Or use the contact page.

12.1 What to include

Please include these, because they are what lets us find and judge the order:

  • Your order number.
  • The email address on the account, so we can match it to the order.
  • Which product, and which file if it is a file problem.
  • What is wrong, in enough detail that somebody who has not seen your screen can understand it.
  • What you have already tried, if you have followed the steps in clause 5.
  • A screenshot of any error message, if there is one.
Please do not send passwords or full card numbers

We will never ask you for your password, and we do not need your full card number or security code. If a message asks you for any of those, it is not from us. Contact us through the details on this page instead.

12.2 What happens next

We will confirm we have your request, check the order against what you have told us, and come back with a decision. A refund is issued by us, not automatically, so there is a review step. We will tell you the outcome either way, and where we decline, we will say why.

We do not require you to give a reason beyond the facts of the case, and we do not treat a request as an admission of wrongdoing.

13. How Long a Refund Takes

We aim to acknowledge a refund request within two business days and to reach a decision within seven. Where we need information from you, or from PayPal or your bank, the clock is longer and we will say so.

Once approved, the refund is paid within 14 days

Under the consumer protection rules that apply to selling online in India, payments towards an accepted refund request must be made within a maximum of fourteen days. That is a hard limit on us, not a target, and it is shorter than many banks take to show the credit.

The refund is sent to the original payment method. How long it then takes to appear on your statement depends on your bank or PayPal and is outside our control, but it is usually visible within a few days and settled within one billing cycle. We will give you the transaction reference so you can trace it.

Please do not treat a request as urgent and chase it before the seven days are up. Repeated messages do not move a review forward, and a single clear message with the details in clause 12 is faster than three short ones.

14. How You Will Receive the Money

Refunds go back to the original payment method. We cannot refund to a different card, a different account, or a third party, because that is how a stolen payment gets laundered out of a merchant account and it would leave your original charge intact.

If your card has been closed or replaced since the purchase, tell us when you request the refund and we will agree a route with you rather than let the payment bounce.

Any refund covers what you paid. We do not add compensation, interest, or a goodwill payment beyond the amount of the order.

15. Chargebacks and Disputes

You are always free to raise a dispute with your bank or with PayPal. We do not require you to come to us first, and we will not treat doing so as anything other than exercising a right.

If you do, we would much rather resolve it with you directly, because that is faster and simpler for everyone. Contact us and we will provide the order records to help you with the dispute.

We will not attempt to collect payment twice where a dispute is already in progress, and we will not add charges to a disputed order.

16. Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy removes, restricts, or waives any right or protection that the law gives you and that cannot lawfully be taken away. Where the law says you may cancel and get a refund, you may do so, whatever this policy says.

Consumer protection law in India sets out specific rights relating to the sale of goods and digital content, including rights about a product not being as described, not being of satisfactory quality, and about digital content that fails to download or is not usable. Those rights exist independently of this policy.

The law also requires a seller to display its return, refund, and cancellation terms clearly enough for a buyer to make an informed decision. This page is that disclosure. It is linked from the site footer and from the checkout, so the terms are available before you pay rather than after.

Where this policy is less generous than the law, the law applies

We have written this policy to be consistent with what the law provides. Where it is not, and the law is more favourable to you, we will honour the law. If you believe a right applies that this policy does not reflect, tell us and we will deal with it on that basis.

Our position on refunds is not a statement that a digital purchase can never be reversed. It is a statement that a delivered, working, correctly described file is not a fault, and that where there is a fault, we fix it or refund it.

17. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when our products, our delivery method, or the law changes. The date at the top of this page is the date the current version took effect.

The version that applied is the one that applied when you placed your order. We will not apply a new version retrospectively to a completed purchase to reduce a right you had at the time. A change that increases your rights applies immediately.

A change that reduces your rights does not affect an order already placed, and we will give reasonable notice of one before it takes effect.

18. How to Contact Us

For a refund, a fault with a product, or a question about this policy, contact us and a person will deal with it.
